Unitas Youth Zone offers a safe and affordable youth facility for junior aged young people on school holidays, with fantastic activities on offer every single day including a host of sports, games, arts and crafts, and cooking sessions!

Costs

The cost for our Holiday Club (school holidays only) is:

Full day: (8am – 6pm) – £12 – Including breakfast and lunch.
Half day: AM sessions including breakfast (8am – 12.30pm) or PM sessions including lunch (1.00pm – 6pm) – £6

This cost covers 10 hours of activities and supervision which includes meals. Any child wishing to attend our holiday club must be a member of Unitas Youth Zone. This costs just £5 per year – To become a member, go to our become a member page on our website to find out more. Due to planned staffing levels at the Youth Zone, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.

Football Camp

During the October Holiday Club, we will also be running a Football Camp for no additional cost.

Please be aware that spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential. To do this, please email Chloe.greenberg@unitasyouthzone.org with your child’s name once you have booked them onto holiday club.

Run by a qualified coach, there will be a two-hour session the morning and a two-hour session in the afternoon which will include games, training and matches with medals up for grabs!

NB Young people taking part will need to wear appropriate sports clothing e.g. tracksuit bottoms and trainers or football boots.

FAQs

What ages is holiday club for?

Holiday club is for 8 – 12 year old members of Unitas Youth Zone.

Do you have to be a member of Unitas Youth Zone to attend?

Yes – the holiday club is for our junior members – you can join Unitas Youth Zone for £5 annual membership either online or at our reception.

What time are the sessions?

The holiday club day starts at 8am and finishes at 6pm. A morning session is 8am – 12.30pm and an afternoon session is 1pm – 6pm

Can I drop off my children at a later time?

Children can arrive later than the session start time, however they may miss the breakfast or lunch hour if they arrive later than 9am in the morning, or 2pm in the afternoon.

When are breakfast and lunches served?

Breakfast is served between 8 – 9am, lunch is served between 12.30 – 1.30pm

Do you cater for dietary requirements or allergies?

Yes – please call reception on to discuss your child’s requirements

Do my children need to wear anything specific?

Young people should wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for them to take part in activities such as team sports and messy art and craft.

What activities are on offer at the holiday club?

We have a full range of activities using the facilities that Unitas Youth Zone has to offer throughout the day. Over the holidays we offer sports, arts, music, media, drama, life skills, games, challenges, quizzes and some chill time too!!

My child has additional needs, can they attend holiday club?

Yes, all our provision is inclusive! If your child needs extra support with their needs please let us know by at least a week in advance by filling in an “all about me” form. Parents will then be invited to have an informal meeting with our Inclusion Co-ordinator Ashani to discuss further how best we can support your child.

Can I turn up on the day and pay for my child to come in?

No – holiday club spaces must be booked as sessions are limited so we don’t have open spaces on the door

I’ve booked a session and now my child can’t attend – can I get my booking refunded?

No – we cannot refund any bookings or make changes to a booked session.

Will normal Unitas Youth Zone sessions still be on?

Yes – our regular session timetable will run throughout the school holidays

Do my children need to bring any money?

All activities and meals are included in the Holiday Club session price. We do have a ‘tuck’ shop that opens and members can buy crisps, cakes, slush and sugar free fizzy drinks so members can bring a few £’s if they want an extra snack.
