Something powerful is happening inside the boxing ring at Unitas.
On Sunday 11th May, the buzz in the air was undeniable as Unitas ABC hosted its first ever joint boxing show with Finchley ABC, drawing in 20 bouts featuring Schoolboys through to Seniors. Fourteen boxing clubs travelled from across London, Essex, East Midlands, East Sussex, and Buckinghamshire to be part of a high-energy, high-impact day.
Our young boxers rose to the occasion:
- Ali stepped into the ring for the very first time — and came out with a clear win.
- Elis gave everything against a tough Islington opponent.
- Joshua narrowly missed victory in a razor-close 3-2 split decision.
- Gabriel and Cristian, our fighting twins, both took home wins.
- Colena won a fierce battle against a determined Finchley contender.
- And Chris? He may have lost, but his match was named Fight of the Day, electric from bell to bell.
And we’re not slowing down! This week, Cristian is fighting at the Five Star Boxing Dinner Show in Chingwell, and next week five of our boxerswill step into the ring at the Capital Box Cup — a huge opportunity to shine on a national stage.
