We are always looking for passionate volunteers from all backgrounds and skillsets to strengthen our offer to young people in North London
Volunteers are the heartbeat of Unitas. From mentoring and coaching to helping in the kitchen or running creative workshops, every volunteer brings energy, warmth, and a helping hand.
Whether you can give an hour a week or a few evenings a month, your time has the power to make a lasting difference and you’ll play a central role in transforming young people’s lives.
To give you the best support, we have a comprehensive onboarding process. This includes an interview, a trial shift, a full induction as well as role-specific training.
“Being able to contribute in a small way to the overall work of Unitas is very fulfilling. I enjoy spending time with young people in the recreational area; seeing them have a positive experience by playing table tennis, pool or hanging out in a safe environment. I really love the vibrant atmosphere and just want to be part of Unitas as much as possible.” Nikhil, Voluteer at Unitas
Volunteering at Unitas isn’t about filling hours, it’s about showing young people what’s possible.
You’ll make a direct difference.
Young people remember the adults who show up for them.
You’ll see the impact instantly.
Confidence grows. Friendships form. Barriers fall away.
You’ll be part of something joyful.
Many of our volunteers say coming into Unitas is the highlight of their week - and the love the energy of our young people during their sessions and seeing all the smiles!
You’ll support young people who need a safe, caring space.
Many of our members come from disadvantaged backgrounds. A consistent adult presence matters.
You’ll grow too.
Volunteers often say they gain as much as they give - skills, friendships, purpose, perspective.
