Our Clubs

Unitas is for all young people ages 8-19, and up to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

For an annual membership fee of £5, and only 50p per visit, members can access to sports hall, boxing gym, training kitchen, fully equipped gym, dance and drama studio, music room with recording studio, indoor climbing wall and take part in 20+ activities and programmes every day. Sign up to become a member and get the opportunity to discover your full potential.

Unitas sessions are run throughout the week and over the course of the year. Each session is for members of a different Club. Unitas operates four Clubs:

Junior Club (Ages 8-12)

Unitas is the perfect place to socialise and meet new people in our safe and supportive environment. Our friendly youth workers will meet you in your first visit and buddy you up with other members. There are tons of games and activities in our comfortable Rec space that you can enjoy with your mates.

Juniors runs throughout the year on:

Wednesdays 4 – 8pm
Saturdays 10am – 2pm

Entry is 50p and on each session there is a hot meal available for £1. There is also tuck (crisps, drinks, chocolate etc) if you bring a bit more money.

You must be a member of Unitas to come on Junior session. You do not have to book in advance but it makes entry quicker when you arrive and on the rare occasions that we have to cap numbers, we will prioritise those who have booked over those who have not.

For more information, contact Louise Adu-Pomaah (Junior Club Manager)

Unilegends (for those turning 13 soon)

We know that transitioning from Juniors to Seniors can be a bit scary. That’s why we have created Unilegends, our special programme for those turning 13 soon.

You will be invited to join the Unilegends programme when you a few months off your 13th birthday; we run cohorts throughout the year.

Supported by Louise, our Junior Club Manager, you are invited to come to Seniors sessions every Tuesday to try it out in a structured and fun way. You’ll also meet Troy, our Senior Club Manager, and get to know the Seniors staff, so when you do turn 13 and move up, you’ll be ready!

The programme lasts six weeks and you’ll get a special welcome gift when you start. At the end of the programme, each group gets to choose a special outing to celebrate – past groups have chosen Thorpe Park, Inflata Nation and go-karting. It’s up to you.

After that, you will have VIP access to both Seniors (on a Tuesday) and Juniors – the best of both worlds! Then, when you turn 13, you’ll become a Senior.

Unilegends runs:

Tuesdays 4-7pm and costs 50p entry

You will receive information about Unilegends when you are eligible. You can also speak to Louise or Troy if you have any questions.

Senior Club (Ages 13-19, up to 25 with SEND)

We offer a comfortable place in our Rec space for you to meet your mates and kick back. Our team of knowledgeable and passionate staff can support you with your side hustle, jobs and CVs. You may also join one of our many youth groups to represent and have a say in different youth development groups.

And of course, all of our rooms will be open, ready for you to work out in the gym, learn a new routine in the performing arts studio, whip up a storm in the training kitchen, lay down some tracks in the recording studio, shoot some hoops and much, much more.

Seniors runs throughout the year on:

Tuesdays 4pm-9pm
Thursdays 4pm-9pm
Fridays 4pm-10pm
Saturdays 5pm-9pm

Entry is 50p and on each session there is a hot meal available for £1. There is also tuck (crisps, drinks, chocolate etc) if you bring a bit more money.

  • The Sensory room helps young people learn to interact with the world around them in a safe environment that builds up their confidence and abilities
  • Our team builds trust with young people to identify their different abilities and needs, and support them with their welfare in growing their independence and confidence
  • Our team supports young people integrate into universal sessions that are delivered throughout the week to increase their self-confidence

Holiday Club (Ages 8-12)

During the school holidays, Unitas is also open on weekdays for Holiday Club. Every day is a new adventure as special activities, games, trips and themed days mean your child won’t want to go home!

Holiday Club is for those aged 8-12 (Juniors age). It runs in all school holidays (including half-terms). Unitas operates by Barnet’s term dates so please check on their website.

In weeks where Holiday Club is running, it is on:

Mondays (except bank holidays), Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8am-3pm or 6pm

It costs £10 per day, or £15 if you wish to stay until 6pm. This includes breakfast, lunch and a fruit snack. There is also tuck (crisps, drinks, chocolate etc) if your child brings a bit of money.

If you cannot afford the cost of Holiday Club, we may be able to help. Please speak to our Reception team in the first instance.

For Holiday Club during Easter, Summer and Winter, we also have free places for those in receipt of Free School Meals via the BACE (HAF) programme, run by Barnet Council and the Young Barnet Foundation and funded by the Department for Education. Again, speak to our Reception team in the first instance.

You must be a member of Unitas to come on Holiday Club. We strongly advise booking in advance.

For more information, please contact Maria Muhammad (Rec and Holiday Club Coordinator) or speak to one of our Reception team.

(As above, there is also Limitless Holiday Club on Wednesdays 10am-2pm)
