Over 1,000 young people use our facilities each week. Like all Youth Zones, each entrant pays a flat rate, nominal entrance fee of 50p. To stay accessible and affordable, membership has to be supplemented by grants and donations.
In addition to amazing facilities and activities, Unitas provides vital psychological and emotional support. The majority of our members come from low-income and disadvantaged backgrounds. This makes it incredibly difficult to access such support elsewhere. Regular visits have been shown to improve emotional, physical and mental well-being. Unitas also helps provide practical life support systems (such as food, clothing and hygiene) for our most vulnerable members and their families.
As well as making a donation, there are many ways you can fundraise in your workplace, community group or just with friends and family. From bike rides to bake sales, and from £1 to £1,000, everything helps young people reach their full potential.
